May God Forgive his soul..

Friend..why? Suicide is not the answer but I guess it's too late for that now. Life is never too hard... it is challenging but that's why we are special..that's why God created us above other creations... we evolve to counter all problems..since our forefathers until now...and this is supposed to be our turn to take the responsibility for the next generation..for the unborn child of the earth... we're only borrowing life from God, and the deal is not for us to give back, but for Him to take back... that's why we should only leave when He calls...

Dude, friend, mate, geng, member, comrade.... you took the wrong way out... damn..why? Haiya... I hope God can forgive your soul... take care dude....

Process Control Monitoring, Controlling and Management

With the vast pace of change over the years, process control has been an important part of any industry. With scarce sources around, the industry demands a more efficient process control in order to produce quality products with minimum cost. That is why we see evolution of better and better process control system from open loop back in the old days to cascade control, a now commonly used system control option.

In the real world, industries do not just have one process control, but plant wide control level. With so many process control system, it is important for us to have process monitoring and control. The main point is to monitor processes in a plant as well as control them, thus ensuring quality production efficiently. Basically there are 2 process monitoring and control method; traditional method and Statistical Process Control.

Other than controlling the process system by implementing monitoring and controlling, it is equally important to manage monitoring and controlling. This is done by planning, organizing, leading and controlling the management itself. In short, we have to manage the organization properly from top management to floor staffs to ensure proper. This will ensure proper flow of order from executive level to technical staffs and this contribute indirectly to quality production of product based on Cobb-Douglas Equation Function.

R484@RABA

Remember that I've been telling you guys that I'm busy with my projects.... well, one of them was finally over last Thursday when we 'succesfully' demo on stage during Engineering Week.

This project is a simple project where we build robot by using LEGO Mindstorms Education set. Yeah, I know..LEGO... macam budak budak... that's why ada rasa malu sikit during demo coz it's just a simple robot made from LEGO set. Quite a lot of people watching ba...demo openly ba itu...

The project itself lasted 3 weeks, with the hardest part is to calibrate the light intensity sensor. For our robot, light intensity sensor is used to detect track borders as well as identifying red balls.

Basically our robot, R484, is built based on a real life example, a space rover. It runs and move randomly within an area in search of set point objects. Once the robot gathers the object, it will return to base. Thus, our robot searches for red balls instead of blue balls, and it will return to base after that.

Our main problem was the light intensity sensor. It is very hard to calibrate since the sensor only identify an object as white or black. So, it's either darker or lighter....But in the end, ok la....hopefully get enough marks la...byah!

Wana jam?

This post is dedicated to my friend..as he just opened a jamming studio earlier this year. I finally had some time off to check the place out last week and the place is quite good for Kuching's standard.

The studio is located at One TJ area. It's on the 1st Floor of the building next to One TJ and you basically can see it from the roadside. The name..7th Tribe Studio. The cool thing about this place is that it's more like a hanging out place. They have one section where you can just sit down and play video game or even watch DVD...for free!! And for skaters, they also sell skate boards, service them and sells other merchandises. Cool rite??

The rate is RM25 per hour on weekdays (10am - 7pm, 7pm-1am RM30) and RM30 on weekends and public holidays. They have everything except for keyboard la. 7th Tribe Studio also have their recording studio....so guys..what are you waiting for eh?? New place, new equipments, recoding studio, lounge and all these with standard rate... For more info, contact their hotline at 016-8778790...

Wet wet lesson

Exactly 2 weeks ago, a couple of guys went for picnic at Matang Family Park..I was one of them (the rest of the casts are: Shirley, HUz, Jat, marp, ben-boy, G-Man, damuk and Raja Kayak. We planned for it on Friday evening and due to extensive planning and money spent on raw materials...we went on with our plan eventhough on that Saturday morning (semua tok salah salah shirley), hujan lebat since early morning....

When we reched the place, we were not the only ones going for a picnic on a rainy day..just that we're the only ones going to BBQ...gila la...salah ko tok shirley!!! Anyway.. to masuk Matang Family Park, we have to pay RM3 per head...and an additional RM5 for those BBQ-ing.... the guard actually asked us to pay eventhough it was raining..gila...dahla tempat BBQ open space...no roof ba... luckily the gal in counter told us not to pay since first since we might end up not BBQ-ing anyway...

Bla bla bla..we got a spot after G-Man fend off a group of guys..they were occupying 4 tables ba...2 tables pun dah cukup for them.... but as soon as we started drinking beer and making noises..they went off..pulang... by then....it was drizzling rather than raining..so we tried to start our fire...that's when lesson 1 happened..

While we were trying to build a fire.... marp and ben-boy went to the river..along with a huge bledar (pelampung bledar 4wd)... according to a survivor... ben-boy somehow lost balance and fell into the river....the current was so fast that...it was more like a rapid rather than a river... so marp lent a hand to ben-boy la (note: ben-boy can't swim).. ben-boy was with the bledar and he accidentally let go of it... so it jatuh a mini-waterfall la... he shouted "marp...bledar!!).. and marp..without thinking much, jumped into the rapid to save the lifeless bledar... (note: marp is a small guy..a lil bigger than a midget...ahhaha)... and due to the current, marp was washed away... a guy, who saw the incident thought marp was a small kid whom was washed away by the current and has been deprived by the bledar..in short..he thought marph was going to drown..so he rushed down the river...

Meanwhile..marp was doin ok...he knew what he was supposed to do in such situation since he's from Tatau ba... why would he jump into the river to save a lifeless pelampung if hez not confident?? but he was washed away la..just that he had to swim to the riverbank.... by the time the dude reached marph....marp was sitting down by a rock, staring at the pelampung being washed away futher away.... if only the dude knew that marph actually jumped into the river to save the bleda...mesti marph kena tampar coz buat orang nabes jak..ahahha...

So we were BBQ-ing when marp and ben-boy survived the incident...and we had a good laugh listening to marp's story....soon after that..lesson 2 pulak.... the rest of the guys went down to the river while I stayed back to BBQ with the gals... according to an eye-witness.... G-Man was floating on his back and he didn't realize he was moving towards the mini-fall...and when he realized it, it was too late... but.... he survived with not cuts and bruises... just like marp..he knew that in such situation, never ever fight the current..just follow....

Lesson 3 occured when I went down to the river to join the,..G-Man baru survived la... He was telling how it happened...so Meng2 melakonkan semula..and he was actually carried by the current... G-Man managd to catch his hand..but meng2 dengan kompiden smiled and gave us 2 thumbs up before falling into the mini-fall... we tot he was playing around..mana tau 5 seconds later he didn't surface...so we went to a frantic la...

We wanted to form a chain by holding hands but tiba tiba Raja Kayak jumped in..nang kompiden la... in a matter of seconds... Raja Kayak was struggling to keep up with the current and he had to grab on marp's boxer....meng2 was still in the water, pushed down by the fall.. in my mind..lalu flash reporters..polis..adeh adeh adeh...

Suddenly..hope came when meng2 was carried by the current..at least at that stage he won't drown...just need to hope he won't hit any rocks la...and...he survived!!! Only after lesson 3..we all went out of the water and sambung BBQ... meng2 was very very tired...and he actually took a nap while we were eating...but when he bangun..lalu polah lawak while telling us his version during the ordeal...ahhaha.. nang lawak la... he said he grabbed hold of someone's leg in the water...the that someone kicked him away...ahhaha...marp marp....

Overall..the picnic was fun because of the 3 lessons..if not..mmg boring la..picnic in the rain ba......but it could have turned into a tragedy if someone did not survived the 3 lessons... wait.... we lost Bleda.... BYah!!!!

- Start studying for finals...

Updating myself..

Finally I'm done with my posts on my CHristmas Trip...gila..in March baru done. I've been really really occupied with my studies and activities around me... mid terms, projects, badminton, bloodtest ..etc etc...

Anyway, just learnt that one of my relative (I don't really know) commited suicide last Friday. He just finished his form 5 last year... So...aiya...I don't have any good words for his decision because I always feel commiting suicide is stupid. The only valid reason for suicide..for me la..if you have an incureable desease...that baru la ok..but if you decide to take your own life due to love, hutang.. kecewa... that's stupid.. might as well you join some army and go into war... at least if you die in war, you died for a 'better' reason .... aiya...

But then again..still relative la..so not good if I say his stupid... maybe I should ask on his behalf, for God to forgive his stupid action... shit man..in Christianity, commit suicide and you'll get eternity in hell... if you see it in another angle, that's quite a harsh punishment for stupidity aite??? byah!!

Christmas Trip:Final Episode

After a not so yummy but cheap seafood lunch in Lawas, we head straight to Sarawak-Sabah border. The check point was not busy but the flow was not so smooth. You see, going to Sabah, we still have to show our passport although they won't be stamping it. It's more like for statistical thingy. They'll only stamp those from Brunei, Indonesia and other non-Malaysian. The thing is, it would have been smoother if they were to open a special lane for Sarawakian/Malaysian, just for the purpose of their statistical record...but noo.... We had to line up with non-Malaysian...and to make things even more confusing... everyone seems to be getting off their car to fill in some forms..only to realize that those forms are declaration form for non-Malaysian.

Well..after the check point..everything went smoothly..especially the road. Funny that right after the border, the roads in Sabah are better than Sarawak.... and Sarawak is supposed to be richer than Sabah... We didn't stop much coz we were rushing to get to KK before sundown...only toilet breaks while filling fuel. Scene-wise..wow...Sabah is way greener than Sarawak...and nicer too.. macam straight from a destop wallpaper...

We thought we could reach KK before sundown...but we finally arrived around 6plus... The view of the ocean.... new KK airport .. the flyovers... malls... aiseh..very very nice... it's like way modern compared to Kuching... but one thing I don't like about KK is..driving in KK. You see, eventhough the flyovers are everywhere..and the highways have 4-5 lanes...as soon as you enter city center..the roads between buildings are very narrow..just like the ones at Desa Ilmu, Kota Samarahan...and to find a parking space is a bitch. I swear, the next trip to KK..I'm taking a flight. I'd rather pay a cab than driving on my own in KK.

Getting a spot to park is one thing, finding a place to stay is another. We wanted to stay at Mandarin Hotel...but the rooms within our budget was full.. and the budget hotels within that area was too dodgy... we pusing and pusing..and finally hit jackpot..at Ruby Hotel. It's not really a budget hotel...but an old hotel..so yeah..it's kinda budget too... a bit dodgy coz when I wanted to park..2 pondan hookers helped me to direct my turnings... and they offered their service after that... but I said "I'll take it if the two of you are real girls"..mesti they sakit hati..aiseh....

After checking in... time to eat... we were all tired and hungry...so we went to the seafood place just across our hotel. The place is hugeee..and it's nearly full. We're lucky to get a table. Dinner was the usual..all seafood...that's what KK is famous for right..seafood.... The price is about the same as Kuching..but they're way freshier and the larger in portion...so, worth it la...

Going to KK was not part of my plan...not my dad's too... so we went off to hotel..mandi and sleep terus la while mom, sister and her bf went on to do some shopping. For me... going KK is nothing much....other than seafood, you're in KK for their Filipino Market... you don't go to Sabah for KK, but for their beautiful islands... beautiful mountain areas... fresh vegi spot in KUndasang...and Mount Kinabalu.... that's why 2 days 1 night trip to KK is a waste of time.. It's more like a trip for me to sleep in KK...and to shit...

The next day... we woke up early and had breakfast at a nearby shop...We had the famous Kunlow Mee... I think Sabahan people will love it..but for me it was ok la.. I just think the noodel are a little too big and overall, too oily.. but at least..service was good... After breakfast..time to jalan-jalan. Only have a few hours because by noon we had to set off for Limbang (Christmas Eve with gf's family ba). We went to the Filipino market to buy souveniers.... I think I spent quite a lot... and there was this one guy offering me an Apple I-phone for only RM200.... aiya..cuba la he datang a bit earlier....

Next we jalan jalan a bit...took a few snaps..and check out some of the malls.... There are quite a number of huge malls in KK..but sadly, ony a few can be labelled as proper malls. Some of them are just like a larger scale of Wisma Hopoh.. They're gloomy...selling mostly cheap stuffs...and kinda dodgy too...like I've said..you don't go to Sabah for KK...

By noon..time to check out and set off for Limbang...we stopped somewhere to buy pusuk (anchovies), don't ask why...maybe my mom is so cheap that she'd rather travel all the way to Sabah to buy pusuk than buying them from India Street... around 3pm we stopped for hi-tea at Sipitang.... the last town before Sabah-Sarawak border..a town famous for satay..and damn they're good... not as good as satay Kajang though.. but a lot better than Sarawak satay....they're juicier and fatter..ours are kurus..and terlalu masak... kedak makan salai jak...

The weather changed from Sipitang onwards... heavy rain... a lot of traffic... we ended up driving really slowly to Limbang and we were worried that we might not make it in time for Christmas Eve mass... I kept on texting my gf eveytime we take toilet break..updating on location and asking what time the service starts.... mok give good impression to her parents ba...they're church ppl...

Finally..we reached Limbang... 8pm like that... we were tired and we wanted to cancel our plan to join my gf's family for CHristmas Eve... but they insisted for us to come even if we join them at 10pm... we rehat kejap..mandi and then duly joined them at 10pm... it was fun really.. not only we joined SIB's Christmas Eve mass.. it was conducted in Lunbawang!!!

We left the service a little early because my gf's family already prepared something for us to eat and they could see that we're too tired to join a full service... we had supper..and chit chat while waiting for midnight..we also gave souveniers we bought from the FIlipino market...I just hope they like all the gifts...We didbn't stay for long..around 1am..we called it a night..head back to Purnama Hotel and sleep...

The next day, we didn't start off the day as early as usual. We took our time to pack... check out the market for nanas, ketam and booze...but was unlucky..c'mon la..Christmas ba...neyda orang buka kedai... Next destination was the town famous for heavy industry..Bintulu... but before that..we stopped at gf's place for breakfast..and they even gave us some drinks and food for the road... tqtqtqtqtqtqtqtqtqtqtqtq ... :-)

Driving straight from Limbang to Bintulu was so tiring that I'm not going to bother blogging it.... I reserved all my energy to focus on driving, thus I didn't even realize if there was anything interesting along the way...well..hard to ignore, but some parts of Miri were flooded la..the sawit area especially... poor parit system I think... initial plan was to stop by Gua Niah... but that plan was scrapped.. save the thought for next holiday la owh...

Bintulu was (and is) dull... not only because there're hardly anyone in town...but because the place itself looks gloomy..some say it's due to the air pollution... souces tole me that Bintulu is a good place to work, but not for raising a family... although the town seemed empty, most of the budget hotels were full...luckily.. there were rooms available at..erm..forgot the name of the hotel..ahhaha.. too gloomy...

After relaxing a bit (we arrived around 5 or 6pm like that).... we went to my aunt's place at Kidurong for Christmas dinner... nothing much to blog oz I was too tired to pay attention to what the conversation was.. basically I pretended to listen..and responded by nodding, smiling...and slight grin..for all I care...I was just too tired....We didn't stay long..went back to hotel at 10pm...lights out by 11pm...

The next day was the final day of our Christmas Trip...a direct drive from Bintulu to Kuching.... we didn't start off early because we went for breakfast in Bintulu town and bought a few bottles of booze...cheap ba... We only set off at 10am.... stopped for lunch at Tatau... was still full so we all went for pork porridge (except for mum and sis's bf)... while there...we bought a few local vegi and we even bought a snake as pet (for my bro)....RM32....ahhahah.... well, the snake eventually terlepas at my house in BDC...so until now memang no news la..no news on missing cats, chicken or kids also..so we assume either the snake dah selamat masuk hutan or it ended in someone's pot....

From Tatau, we only stopped for fuel and toilet breaks... last day of the trip..we just can't wait to be home...especailly for me la.. I just wanted to take a shower and sleep.... and that's exactly what I did when I reached home 7 hours later... BYah!!!

p/s: End of this series...hahaha..sorry for the delay guys... been very busy with uni thingy..
