CAD/CAM for Modern Injection Moulding

The prominent machinery used to produce wheel cover is Injection Moulding Machine. Modern Injection Moulding machine basically comes with integrated system of CAD/CAM. Therefore, CAD/CAM system is crucial to be implemented in this production.

By applying CAD into production, it helps to increase the productivity by reducing time consumed by designer to do synthesis, analysis and documentation of the design. Synthesis can be referred as geometric modelling in CAD function. Geometric model permits the user of the CAD to perform certain operation on the model which includes making new geometric model or modification on existing model takes less time compared to the manual drafting.

CAD is also useful in order to improve the quality of the design where this software permit the designer to do more complex engineering analysis and to consider a large number of options and varieties of design alternatives. Analysis that can be made by applying CAD in design process includes mass properties analysis, interference checking, tolerance analysis, finite element analysis, kinematic and dynamics analysis and discrete – event simulation.

Besides that, design evaluation and review procedures also can be augmented by CAD. The features includes in-evaluating and reviewing a proposed design consist of automatic dimensioning analysis, error checking, animation of discrete – event simulation solutions and plan layout design scores to design the facilities. CAD also helps to improve the design documentations. The graphical output of CAD system results in better documentation of the design than manual drafting where the drawings is superior and has less drafting error and greater legibility.

Finally, CAD eases to create manufacturing database. The documentation includes the product design (geometric specification of product, dimension of the product, material specification, bill of material etc).

Huah...

I've been very very very very busy lately...that's why I only posted one lame entry for October and the same might happen for this month. My final year project is taking half of my time.. another quarter is dedicated to other subjects and the finaly quarter is left for me to please everyone around me... in short, 24 hours is beginning to feel like 5 hours to me...and I'm all sleepy today... lack of sleep..lack of good food and lack of entertainment... resting the body is not enough, must rest ma' head.. hopefully a meeting with an ol' fren later tonight will get me better... so that's all folks.... I'll try to post something meaningful next week.. Ahaks....

Dr. Deming: 14 Points

Deming’s 14 Points is a framework to improve quality and production. It is basically cure to 5 Deadly Diseases mentioned above. The 14 points are:

1. Constancy of purpose

The management must have continuous plans to compete in the ever-changing industry by always looking for ways to improve products and services. This will eliminate short term goals and always be prepared for new changes. A good example will be AirAsia, where the management team jumped leaps and bounds from what they have started as a budget airline company. Now they are majority shareholder of MAS, Team Lotus F1 and Queens Park Rangers FC, and they’ve spread their wings in other businesses like Tune Hotels, Tune Talk and Tune Insurance.

2. Adopt to the new philosophy

Industries and economics are dynamic, failure to move in parallel leads to obsoleteness. Competitions become stiffer as each business or industry is stuffed with similar producers. The management and workers as well must accept and understand new philosophy wholly. Changes occurs all the time and each level must acknowledge it and incorporate it fully to generate passion to the new philosophy.

3. Cease dependence on mass inspection

For years quality inspection has been about detecting defects rather than preventing them. Defect rate can be reduced by using quality materials, machines and workers. To ensure high quality offshore modules fabrication, Brooke Dockyard ensures that steel plates have milling certificates, quality machineries, hire skilled workers and to top it off, employ highly qualified QAQC staffs to monitor fabrication process.

4. End lowest tender contracts

If expensive does not ensure quality, cheap will be a long shot. To get higher profit margin, some management award tenders to companies with the lowest cost. Contracts should always be given based on proven records from previous projects or those with evidence of quality like up-to-date machineries and qualified workers.

5. Find problems to make improvements

No system is flawless and it is one of many roles of the management to find problems with the system. Problems do not mean defects or deficiency, but can be considered as points which could be improved. For example, cutting defects are solved by replacing cutting tool(s) and an inspector with RT Level 2 can detect more defects than a RT Level 1 inspector. (RT = Radiographic Testing).

6. Institute modern methods of training on the job

Most of the time, workers are trained by showing them how to do things. Thus workers do not really understand the process but just work for the sake of working. With on job training in the other hand, workers are able to understand the work process and such training should be standardize so that all workers have produces same quality standard.

7. Institute leadership

It is common that most ‘leaders’ in management system are instructors rather than leaders. Usually they tell ‘do this’, ‘do that’, ‘stop’ and etc. Leadership is more than that; they help others to improve by giving coaching and encouragements.

8. Drive out fear

This point is related to Point 7. When leadership is instituted, leaders gain respect and workers will feel close to them. If leaders are instruction givers, boundary will occur between workers and management and this will strike fear among workers. With this, workers will refrain from giving out new ideas to improve the system.

9. Eliminate barriers between departments

Different processes/roles in a system create barriers between different departments. Thus a department will not fully understand the process of another department and this situation will creates a lot of problems between departments. If the barriers can be removed, understandings between departments can be achieved and this will improve the process flow, thus improve quality.

10. Eliminate exhortations

Dr. Deming has highlighted that problems are due to those in management, not workers. Exhortations such as meaningless motto and slogans will only frustrate workers that understand errors are done by the system and not workers. This will cause dissatisfaction and workers will not have the passion to produce quality products and services.

11. Eliminate arbitrary numerical targets

Usually management will use average production quality standard as benchmark and most of the time; most workers will fall below the benchmark. This will cause workers to unite to lower average standard and the better workers will not be able to perform according to real ability. This will lower quality standard of end product.

12. Permit pride of workmanship

Workers are those involved more in production of products or services. By instilling passion with the work they do, workers will have the sense of pride of their work. This will encourage them wanting to produce high work quality all the time without offering many rewards like bonuses and off days. Rewards are temporary, pride is forever.

13. Encourage education

Economics and businesses change all the time, prompting change in technologies and philosophies. This also means workers must also change to move along with the flow. This can be done by continuous process to improve themselves through trainings, education and seminars. Experience helps but knowledge of new technologies and systems will generate even more value to quality production.

14. Commitment to accomplish transformation

The last point demands commitment from every level of the system, from management to workers, to put into action Point 1 to Point 13. This can also be viewed as enforcement of the first 13 points to achieve quality management.

Dr. Deming: 5 Deadly Disease

The 5 Deadly Diseases highlights critical management mistakes that lead to low quality production. The 5 critical mistakes are:

1. Lack of constancy of purpose

This occurs when the management does not have proper planning to maintain competitiveness in the industry. Such system only concerns with current production and changes the system when the current system no longer works. Thus when changes occurred, the management will have to make hasty changes to accommodate the flow and in the end fail to achieve similar quality standards of the previous production plan. For example, Sarawak Transportation Company (STC) dominated land transportation since its establishment, regardless of the quality they provide, and when purchasing of vehicles were made easy in the turn of millennium, STC was not ready. Once a significant land transport provider, now STC is just a significant part of local history.

2. Emphasis on short term profits

With lack of future planning, it also means the management are more focussed on what they obtain at current time and not the future. This is usually done by new companies in which the management compromise on the quality of materials, workmanship and overall, the end product. Companies from China, Taiwan and Indonesia to name a few are the usual suspects to produce sub-standard products.

3. Evaluation by performance, merit rating or annual review of performance

The third mistake emphasise on evaluation of individual contributions, which will lead to lack of teamwork and harmony. Workers will only concern on their own performance and not the overall achievements of the department or company. Individualistic performance can be seen clearly in modern soccer where players are more concern on goal scoring bonuses rather than the team’s match performance.

4. Mobility of Management

This disease occurs when the management changes too frequently. Changes in management occur when the system fails to deliver stability in profit and quality. New changes bring in new management philosophy and this breaks continuous efforts to improve a system. Thus, long term plans could not be planned and the system will just play around with new short term plans.

5. Running a company on visible figures alone

The fifth disease is co-related to the first four diseases. This occurs when the management is obsessed with number of sales and the profit margin instead of customer satisfaction and product quality. In addition to that, such management plan tends to organize sales or offer lower selling price in order to achieve high sales and significant short term income. In the long run, such method will give lower profit margin (profit/duration) and in the end fail to sustain future business. A budget airline company in Indonesia extends the word ‘budget’ by compromising pilot trainings. The decision resulted in an airline tragedy and the company filed for bankruptcy due to multiple legal actions.

Fish Pond Project: Part 2 (End)

Waterproofing is not that easy...and not that hard too..quite simple oso...wat's my point?? I oso duno... The thingy is like water really..it's water based... but once they're dried up, it'll form some sort of 'plastic' layer..to apply them, use our ordinary paint brush...

After they're dried up..baru can apply cement over them... I used base coat cement, you can buy a sack from most hardware store for RM36... The cool thing about this cement is that the manufacturer already mix it with sand... So it's already in a good ratio between cement and sand... It's perfect for smooth wall finish and of coz kerja tampal-menampal...

The water ratio is quite hard to control.. coz if the mix is has too much water..then you can't use it so plaster the side walls...but for the base it's good..easier to spread.. For the walls..it's better to make the mix a little dry...

After main plaster... we pray for rain to come to fill in the pond..of coz..don't ask for rain immediately... ask for it to fall the day after or so... Rendam for 1 month..of coz release the water every few days..the idea is to cuci the pond by removing chemical contents released by the cement..adding water plants can help to neutralize the water too...so 1 month should do it...

So..macam itulah ini project... Will post pics of fishes in the pond later later la.. ahaks..

Life as a Brooke: Part 1

Industrial training placement is part of compulsory requirements to graduate with a degree from any local university in Malaysia. For Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), undergraduates must undergo at least 10 weeks of industrial training as set by Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM). Through industrial training, undergraduates are expected to be exposed with work ethics, responsibilities, technical practices and other real life engineering exposures like problem identifying and solving.

Mine was at Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation (BDEWC), Sejingkat, under Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) Department. Their (BDEWC) main industry is to fabricate offshore modules like production/drilling platform, offshore living quarters and platform jacket. Other than that, BDEWC also build and repair vessels, ferries and steel arch bridges as part of their aim to be a major provider for petroleum, marine and manufacturing industries. It is the responsibility of the QAQC Department that all fabrication works are done according to specifications.

So....about wat happens there...I continue later later la....ahaks..

p/s: This post is backdated...hehehe.... Posted part 2 earlier pulak...

Today marks the 2nd Year

Been there during my ups and downs...for the last 2 years.... and hopefully for the many years to come... Love you....

Fish Pond Project: Part 1

Dad's fish pond was leaking...so dad asked me to handle it... That means moving all fishes into the aquariums and drain all the water in the pond. After draining, spraying the pond surface with the water gun...all these 3 things took 1 full day to do... not that easy eh... Day one, done...

Day two...looking for defects (macam LI pulak)... before applying waterproffing on the surface, it is importan to plaster the defected surfaces (cracks...thinning surface etc..)..

Then baru apply waterproofing... This will take out another full day.. Next step, next post la..to be continued...ahaks...

Me at Asia Infrastructure '11

A few days ago, I went for this convention and exhibition at BCCK... Asia's International Infrastructure Development Exhibition & COnference... nang panjang la nama... Not that I want to go there..but was invited by Brooke's Engineering Dept to go..so pergi la..boring ba at cabin..plus... to masuk have to pay RM20 ba.. so ok la dapat masuk free...

To be honest..dunno wat I did there la..just see this and that jak..then talked with the guys from SCORE...TRC..and CMS..the rest..macam malas la mok talk... I'm looking forward for the next convention..that'll be next year la...convention on O&G industry..see you there next year...ahaks...

Gawai 2011

As usual, I spent my Gawai celebration this year at my dad's hometown, Sungai Ruan, Roban. Just like previous years, my parents went off earlier while I went off a few days later since I was still working on the 30th. Rajin ba kerja..Gawai Eve baru go kampung..ahaks..

My gf was with me when I drove off to kampung, it's the 2nd time for her to celebrate Gawai with my family at Sungai Ruan..maybe this year's Christmas I'll go to her hometown in Limbang...to be fair ba... Anyway, we drove off a bit late since we had breakfast at kedai gangsta BDC...to make up time, we didn't stop for long at Lachau...only stop for toilet break and tapau some buns. We arrived safely at my longhouse around 3pm (after stopping at Saratok for an hour to buy some fruits).

Last year, those on our side of the longhouse become host for Gawai..this year the other end of the longhouse...so I was not involved that much this year. I spent more time layan family dirik and close ones...only time countdown..and the usual miring ceremony jak go to the other end... other than that...just lepak at ruai sendiri or lepak at my uncle's ruai.

I think this year, Gawai was not that happening simply because we're not hosting it at our end....but felt that we get to have more fun time together as a family. We do not have to kamboh kamboh prepare this and that for others...but take our time to BBQ... lepak lepak...crita crita among close family members..in that sense, I kinda like this year's Gawai. Plus, it's not noisy on our side thus I can sleep earlier than before.

The highlight for Gawai will always be on the night of 31st May.. thus those that enjoys singing, dancing and drinking basically spent the eve with the fullest fun they can have la... So on the 1st June..they all fall flat la..semua mabok... for us yang sik minum gilak..1st June is the day for housekeeping (cuci ruai..banyak sampah sarap) and of course pergi grave to light up candles... On the night of 1st June...we makan together(uncles and aunts..kazen kazen) as a family..and fun in a way la...very family style punya...

We all pulang on the 2nd June..after the usual annual meeting... This year punya meeting shorter than last year la... Last year they meeting sampai 4pm baru habis... this year by noon dah habis... Around 2pm we set off from kampung and reached Kuching safely by 7pm.... itu sahaja laporan Gawai 2011..ahaks...

p/s: sorry for the late entry..bz ba...ahaks....

Friday, July 1, 2011

Still got it..

I had a pleasant ride home..and was kinda early, so I decided to stop at one of my favourite spot in Kuching..although I have to admit it's been ages since I last went there.. I went to Sugarbun Tabuan Jaya..and they still got it...their own chilli sauce... I think one of their secret ingredient is crushed nuts... dunno which nuts la.. nice... ahaks...

Happy Father's Day!

No matter how many time I've screwed up..no matter how many times I cause you headaches.. You've always been there to give me support... Thank you Dad... Thank you for everything..Happy Father's Day!!

p/s: Later buffet dinner...but don't eat too much later ya..

Life as a Brooke: Part 2

For the last 3 weeks, I’ve been ‘busy’ with my industrial training at Brooke Dockyard,Sejingkat. It’s my 4th week now and in another 6 weeks I’ll be done with this. But I am considering an extension of 2 weeks, just to make it a 3 months training instead of a 2 ½ months. Alang-alang….

To be honest, I don’t know much about Brooke Dockyard…. In fact I initially thought they’re into shipping industry..but on my first day here, I realized that I’m in oil and gas industry. Brooke in fact fabricates sections of an oil rig and currently they’re making top side of an oil rig for Murphy Oil (Sarawak). Thus, I accidentally involved myself into oil and gas for my training…wahahaha..ketawa penjahat… I wanted to have my training with an oil and gas based company for my training ba but my applications were rejected… like I’ve said, I didn’t know Brooke is in oil and gas ba….

Here at Brooke, I’m in QA/QC department…a department where most will assume it’s more related to Civil instead of Mechanical…. However, they do need others from different field. In fact, the QC/QC manager is a mechanical engineer ba. They need mechanical people to inspect mechanical equipments ba…equipments to be used to build and equipments to be installed to the rig. In addition to that, they’re short of mechanical guys ba…thus I’m assigned to take over some jobs of a mechanical inspector.

So far.. I’ve been exposed quite a lot even though the project is still in the early stages. I’ve inspected a number of machines like air compressors, flare tip, air dryer and etc….but not a full inspection la. Initial inspection will just be inspecting the parts…later before installing them to the rig, baru run them to tests..but I don’t think I’ll be able to do that since my training is so short. The whole project will take 12-14 months ba..meaning they’ll install the machines on the rig by the 10th month like that la…

Other than inspecting received equipments… I’ve inspected welding works…a bit ironic la since my welding skills is not good and I’m inspecting welding works of a welder with years of experience… ahahahahaha…rasa best ada juak..rasa nebes ada juak… yala, skill macam ciput but have to brani sound the welders if they’re work quality is not within acceptable range… Also takut because their welding works will be sent to Johor for tests..and if they tests come out fail…the whole project will be delayed… the weld work are samples for the floors, walls and ceilings…. If fail, have to edit and redo the whole weld work and then send for test again sampai la pass….
(to be continued)

This and that

It's been quite a while eh.... aiya.. I've been doing this and that since Gawai ba... Let me start from the day before Gawai la ...I recap..

Of course I went back to Sg Ruan, Roban (my dad's longhouse) on the 31st May..and stayed there until 2nd June (3rd dah work again ba..)... more on my Gawai 2011 will be posted, hopefully this weekend la...

After Gawai, my brother came back from KL for a week...so can say layan him la owh... He comes back once a year but usually he'll be driving me up the walls by his 2nd day in Kuching la...

Things didn't turn out so good when mom was admitted to the hospital. My brother had to stay there with mum for 3 nights... thankfully mom was discharged la..

On top of all those above...I've been 'working' with Brooke Dockyard since 16th May as part of my degree course (industrial training)... so whenever I come back from work, I'll be very tired.... but now ok a bit coz my bro dah balik KL...so have some free time for myself la...

So like this la.. this weekend I'll post my Gawai story, a few cooking entries and parts of my training...ok ka??? mana-mana la owh...Byah!!

(no pics for now..line too slow to upload any picture)..

Simple beef steak from the heart....

They say, one of the best way to win a girl's heart is to cook for her. Your first few shots might not be good, but a girl will understand if she sees that it's from your heart. With a spoon full of love in every cooking, I bet anything a guy cook for his girl will be nice.

So I'm going to give a simple menu here, a simple beef steak with the least cost possible. The best part for a steak will always be the sirloin...coz it's more tender... but beef knuckle also can la...cheaper also... the tip is, to make the chunk smaller. So this dish, it'll just be beef steak on top of mash potatoes with stir-fried vege (broccoli + green pepper) and romaine lettuce salad.

First we wash the potatoes, romaine lettuce, broccoli and green pepper. Cut whatever you need to cut at the comfortable size. I prefer breaking my lettuce to bite size instead of cutting them so that they'll remain 'fluffy'. As for the potatoes, it's best to not peel of the skin...but here I peeled off some parts which does not look really good.

We boil the potatoes for 10-15 minutes..depending on the size of your potatoes la... Add some salt to give some taste...and to speed up the softening of the potatoes. While waiting, we cut the meat to medium size chunks. Some prefer marinating the meat but for me, I'll just add black pepper and salt on the meat right before putting them over a hot pan. For me, beef is a heavy meat. You'll need a lot of spices and herbs to cover the taste of beef.... and the spices are not cheap. Since you want to eat beef steak, it means you want to eat beef...so why not bring up the flavor of beef..and the best way is to put salt, that's it. So for me, I just rub salt and pepper on the side I'm going to put on the pan... then rub salt and pepper again on the other side when they're already in the pan...then flip it. To get the right set, you'll need to flip it often....especially if you want it to be medium-rare.

By now... it should be time to mash the potatoes. Drain out water from the pot, add salt, mayo and fresh milk (to moisten)..then start mashing and mixing them...hahahha.. that's the fun part. As you mash your potatoes, take breaks by flipping your beef....and by the time they're (potatoes) done, you can start cooking broccoli+green pepper.

We're going to stir fry them with butter.... but to prevent butter from burning, add a table spoon of oil for every tablespoon of butter. As the butter melts with the oil, add a garlic clove...and as soon as all the butter melts, add broccoli. Now, it's up to you which you want to put in first. I want my broccoli to be soft and green pepper to be crunchy..but if you want it to be the other way around.. then start frying green pepper first. Once they look a little soft, add the other vege and turn off the heat. Heat from the pan will do the rest.

Now our beef should be done...take them out of the pan and cut them to smaller chunk. Remember, you're going to eat with your girl...not another barbarian.... plus, by cutting them to smaller chunks you'll be able to see if they're at the right rarity. Now put them back into the pan, increase the heat a little and add chicken stock...just a little. This is to make the sauce. The best way to make sauce is to extract the taste from the meat itself. If suggesting chicken stock because the taste of chicken is rather mild and will not overwhelm the taste of beef. If you have more $$$, use a mild wine... if you've spent all your money, pipe water also can la. To thicken the sauce, add some corn flour...not too much okay..we're not making Cantonese noodles here...

So there you go.. a simple beef steak... byah!!

P/S: Add some love ya!!

Gemersik...Launching...

Earlier today... I had lunch at Secret Recipe in conjunction with the launching of Gemersik...

A friend of mine, Nas, want to upgrade her hobby to another level..to a more commercial level..thus Gemersik emerged (click on Gemersik to go to her website..but it's not complete yet la...)...

A few weeks before the launching... Dan Fadalini (of Foster & Fadalini Photography) was asked by Nas to take a few shots of her models...and I was there to help Dan as his reflector..... with a real reflector okay..not with my shiny bald head...

Anyway...present for the launching was Nas Denis, Nur Azimah, Salfa, Dan Fadalini, my gf and myself la.... Ros can't make it, shopping with her mum (family is important). We had plenty of food and by the time we're having the cake, we were basically stuffed...hahaha..but still managed a huge slice...

Gila la...hahahah...

Here are other pics taken..

Eksen Dan sik dapat makan that much...

Goofing around with GF...

If Dan can do it..I can oso maaa....susah meh?? (kinda susah also to get good shots...)

well... check out updates for Gemersik via my blog... BYah!!

LI is coming

My training with Brooke Dockyard will start this Monday (that's tomorrow)... not to say I'm nervous...I just don't know what to expect...thus I can't plan anything.. all I know I'll be reporting in this Monday, 8 am at their office..which is located above Everise Demak Laut.... I figure that I'll be there just for the first day..then the rest of it at the shipyard la...all the best...BYah!!

The reason why...

Today kecoh coz today is the first day for intersession online registration... the problem is, if you're not in UNIMAS, you can't register online... So basically, you have to be in campus to register online. The thing is, the management said that we can register from anywhere asalkan ada internet. So, in this situation, only those still in UNIMAS can register...Those yang dah pulang as soon as finish exam...regiter later la..itu pun if still have empty spots...

Register for interssion is basically rushing for sale item la. Limited space and yet a lot of students. Last year, registration was opened at 10 am and it took 10 minutes for every course to get full...Last year... most students from outside Kuching had to register early for their hostel to stay for intersession...then most of them had to cancel their plans when they could not register for interssion coz all dah full..that's why...this year...only those in UNIMAS can register...those from outside have to drive to UNIMAS..or maybe wait a few days until the management change the setting...itulah why..BYah!!

First in 9 years

Please refer the picture below:

That's my car....The guy in the picture is not me la...Yup...after 9 years of driving experience, I finally got myself involved in a real accident as a driver. A relief really coz I no longer carry the burden of never get into an accident, you do know what they say about those who never get into an accident rite..???

Anyway... the accident was quite serious and to be honest, I was quite nervous for the first 5 minutes...takut the guy mati on the spot ba... If mati on the spot, I have to masuk jail until morning ba...the next day I was going to have my Mechanical Vibration exam at 9am ba.... But as soon as the guy starter to move (just turn over by himself and start mumbling), I was actually smiling (delighted in heart).

The incident berlaku like this.. I was at Jalan Wan Alwi, at the traffic light on the very right lane since I was going to turn to right into Jalan Bayor Bukit... I was basically at the traffic light at the Tabuan Jaya crossroad. There were 3 cars in front and 1 car (Hilux) behind me. When the light turn gree, we all start to jalan and turn right... I was basically at the center of the crossroad when there was a loud bang on front left side of my car and something crashed my windshield... A bike rammed my car.... when I realized he's not under my car or in front, I drove a bit into Jalan Bayor Bukit and stop by the road side.

A friend of the motorcyclist chased after me because he thought I was going to run away. He started screaming and sped his bike towards my car. Now, why on earth would I run away? Who's gonna pay for the damaged to my car?? Somebody has to pay and it ain't gonna be me.... The guy was still screaming at me and talking trash..then I got fed up and went out of my car and stood right in front of me... Maybe he realized I'm was bigger than him, he toned down and told me not to run away... I said I'm not going away and I walked towards the accident scene...

The guy was still lying( more like folded) in the middle of the road. A few of his friends told me to send the guy to hospital and not call an ambulance because the guy was drunk (if call ambulance, meaning police will also come and the guy will be charged for drunk driving - jail n fine ba..). I asked them to bawa him to my car but there was another guy there already called an ambulance. The guys started to scold him for calling the ambulance and I just walk away la coz let them gaduh la..ahhaha... just wait for the ambulance... Was still worried at that time la coz the guy was not moving...then yahuuu..he came around, turned and started to mumble something..I dunno what la but I was relieved.. I walked towards my car and looked at the damage..not bad eh for a motobike...

Seeing it's not so serius to my car but quite a damage, I walked back to the scene la...don't really know what to do la...ahhahahh..so I talked with the guys by the roadside.. just talk shit la... A police car came shortly and started evaluating the scene... One thing la, the scene smelt like beer la.. there were a few cans of beer on the road..a bottle of coke and a bottle of langkau I think. So it's quite clear the guy was drunk.... His friends fled the area when they saw the police, only 2 of them stayed... I just walked to the police, gave my detailes and asked them on what I to do... Gave my IC and driving license...and was told to wait until they're done accessing the scene before going to the police station for a formal report. So I just lepak lepak la around the scene..watching on what was going around....

Since I was kinda carefree... the a reported thought I was just a passer by. I tell you, I was really carefree because as long as the guy don't die on the spot, I am fine. A few funny things happen while I was waiting la... A car suddenly pulled over, 3 guys jumped out with their DSLRs around their neck, began taking photos and jumped back into the car and go off...wa...so cepat..even before the ambulance arrive... the ambulance arrived shortly and a new group of reporters arrived as well.. they took photos of the ambulance guys getting the biker..and they asked around on what happened..that's when one of them talked to me la...hahaha.. After knowing I'm the driver, he asked if I'm ok...wa...kenot see I'm all fine, talking and walking here and there izzit???

To be honest, I didn't really know what happened that time... All I knew was that it was not my fault because the traffic light was green for my side and I was following the cars in front of me. But the police guys told me that the bike was actually from the opposite direction..meaning he ran over the red traffic light... He could have rammed any of the cars turning to the right and he was 'lucky' to have hit mine. Since my car is quite high, it prevented him from flying off his bike. Instead he hit his head onto my windshield instead of landing on the road. If he were to hit the saloon car in front of me...ada la superman terbang, land on the road and die on the spot... "lucky' for him, but not to me...

By the way, the two police guys handling my case were Sgt. Sparrow and Sgt. Tuah...talk about their names eh... I have 'Jack Sparrow' and 'Hang Tuah' by my side... :P

After 'clearing' the scene, Sparrow explained on what will happen.... go to police station Simpang Tiga to lodge a report and go to hospital for blood check. Seeing that it'll be a hassle and I do have an exam the next day.. I called my mum using Sparrow's mobile....ahhahah.. mine was out of credit... told ya I was in good hands...

My car was not so bad....can still move..so I drove it to the police station.... My parents were there already la... Kena sound sikit coz the accident occured at 11.30 pm ba... The next day exam...so by right, I should have been studying or sleeping la... but..but. c'mon la... HUngry ba... and I dah study whatever I can for the exam... So I wanted to get some fresh air..lepak minum/makan.. and Togap 2.0 jak available. He's back from UiTM for hols...he stays in Sekama area...so that's why I was driving through Tabuan Jaya area... short cut through Foo CHow road ba...

Anyway... made my police report...at Simpang Tiga..and then went to the hospital for blood test... The guy (the one langgar my car) was already there, emergency ward. Turned out he fractured his left hand and legs as well as having internal injuries...teruk also la...but alive.... took some time at the hospital..tunggu turn ba... then gave my blood... had blood pressure test (was ok, 138/77)..then the doctor checked if I was having any injuries.... lepas itu..baru can go home...it was already 3am.....

So...like that la the accident... Byah!!!

Well..that's over... did 5 out of 6..but I'm quite certain I didn't do number 3 correctly... oh well... NEXT!!

Theories why Mourinho did it with Inter but not Madrid

Only after the first leg, it seems the road is over for Madrid. They lost 2-0 at their own ground..... which means the second leg in Nou Camp will be nothing more than a boring match of Barca passing the ball around and Madrid either running around like dogs or just stay back to try make the result respectable. My bet, Barca for final and win the cup.

I was rooting for Madrid eventhough a Madrid-Man U final will most likely result in Man U winning the title. At least a Man U-Madrid game will be more 'entertaining' than watching Barca dictate the game against a bunch of headless devils. Face it, Man U plays pretty much like Madrid at the moment... direct running and extensive use of body strength (except for Nani and Park).

Back to the main topic, why can't Mourinho do it again....given the resources given to him... It's quite simple, Madrid have stars while Inter is full of fallens. Italy is known to be a pre-retirement league now... or a league to re-ignite fallen stars. Look at Ibra..Ronaldinho...Ronaldo...Sneider..Cicinho....Cassano... Eto'o... Beckham ... When these players face big clubs, they tend to give extra so that people will remember that they're still that good... That was the case when Inter played in last year's edition.

When we compare Madrid now and the Inter last season, they're being set up the same way..but will different players...thus results will vary. With Inter, Mourinho uses right wing back and left attacking winger for his flanks because he had Maicon and Eto'o. With Madrid, his strongest wing back is Marcelo on the left.... and strongest winger is Ronaldo on the right. However, he doesn't have a strong central targetman like Milito..... Higuain is a real poacher but he's a bit too small while Benzema is too much flair. SO he had to shift Ronaldo to center..making Maria his strongest winger which is on the left. That creates an imbalance..so he shifted Maria to the right. However, on the right..Maria will not be able to deliver crosses on his right foot since he is all left....again, imperfection. Now, the flanks are not functioning well because Maria will have to deliver crosses with his left foot from the right....thus, deep crosses which will be dealt easily by Pique or Valdes. Ronaldo will have to hope slip ups from any of them, which occured after 90 minutes of playing during the Spanish CUp final...and the goalkeeper was Pinto....

Next we look at the central area... with Inter, Sneider was playing behind MIlito. His role was to shoot to goal, which his accuracy and strong shooting.... goalkeepers will tend to mishandle and spill the ball for Milito to tuck in. With Madrid.... he tried with Ozil but he didn't get any decent shot... Mourinho tried with Alonso but he doesn't have real fluidity to bring the ball to his optimum range. Plus, Alonso operated a little too deep..a little too far to shoot. I'm not sure if Kaka would have done the trick but as far as I remember...Kaka spreads the ball around..not shoot from range. Thus, his best bet to fill Sneider's role was actually Ronaldo.... Which Mourinho tried when he brought in Adebayor for Ozil.

With Inter, Mourinho covering in midfield was done by Cambiasso.... quality defensive midfielder that roams around spreading the ball to the attacking players. In Madrid, Mourinho had to use Pepe... pushed from center back. Defensive-wise Pepe is better Cambiasso...but passing....haiya... To add more defensive cover, Mourinho added Lass. I think Lass is better than Pepe but he's lacking in real competetive matches. Lass was assigned to disrupt the tempo of Xavi and Barca wingers. The problem with Pepe being pushed up is that, in defense we have Albiol and Ramos. To me, Ramos is more suited as right back because, well..look at him when he plays on the right. In Albiol... I don'te really have anything to say... He's not really a center back...a little to small if you ask me...and a little to slow. He plays best when he's paired with Pepe... 'coz Albiol is good with holding up players and Pepe will cut in. That was the plan when Mourinho paired Albiol with Ramos since Ramos is quick like Pepe too.... But I guess Ramos doesn't think as good as Pepe.

Although Madrid is no Inter, Mourinho have enough quality to at least grab a draw... He uses the best players available to fill in the game plan like how he did it with Inter. It went well until Pepe got sent off. WIth Pepe out, only Lass was around to provide defensive cover in midfield. So Alonso had to drop down a little...leaving a huge hole in the middle...Xavi took advantage. Alonso is not as quick as Pepe...thus a double act on the left with Marcelo on the left will not go well if the winger is very very fast... on came Affelay to replace tired legs of Pedro. Pedro and Affelay plays more or less the same..but the absence of Pepe, the lacking of speed in Alonso and the fresh legs of Affelay made it possible for Affelay to break loose from Marcelo and cross for Messi to finish. As for the second goal.... a jaded Madrid is easy to break... Madrid lacks the will power...the resistance.. because they're a bunch of pampered stars... They have nothing to prove because they're already in one of the most successful club in the world... Once they're behind...they hardly have the strength to claw back. Plus, Madrid already won the Spanish Cup..it's more than they've targeted this season.

Messi factor?? Well... to be fair..he moves around compared to Ibra. Ibra is a striker..while Messi is a shifted striker. Messi might not be a threat on air but Barca doesn't go for high crosses anyway...everything pass is a through ball..one two .... pass to space.... Messi thrive with that plan. That is why Mourinho's plan was to disrupt the flow.... and to do that....11 players is needed...One gone and the plan will end..... Because Madrid is not Inter...BYah!!

Happy Easter

Although I'm wishing everyone a Happy Easter, it's hard for me to be joy and all since a friend of mine just lost his dad.... but for the rest of you, just enjoy this day, the day Jesus Christ rose again....as our saviour....Byah!

Deepest condolonces...

They say, on the day you send the dead/coffin to the cemetery, the skies will fall as a sign of sorrow and sadness. I guess that is the case for this morning, the burial of late Dr. Edward Chendang, father of my close friend, Kingston Billy. His departure was shocking news for us, and even still now. A healthy man, active in sports, regular exercise, rarely eats outside and now he’s gone. Let us pray for his soul to be with among great men, a place where he should belong. As for Kingston and his family, hope that they will overcome this difficult time and move on….Amen.

Dear You_4

You see, things just didn't work out and I just could not see myself able to tell it right to your face. I know how you will react and I know I might have a change of heart just because of that.

You changed to ..I don't know.... to a very KL person. You did not notice it but I do... coz I'm not a fan of KL attitude. Suddenly every little things became important.. labels, brands, looks, style, talk.... all bullshit if you ask me. Since that's the lifestyle you chose..since that's the identity you'd prefer..then there is no point anymore..

Maybe what I'm saying here does not or make very little sense... when I think back, it doesn't too. They say love never made any sense in the first place...but it will reach one point where one will realize it's only a crossroad between reality and imaginary world.

But I don't mind if you blame me for everything.. I'd say it's my fault for not saying things a lot earlier... I could have ended it a lot earlier so that the hurt would be less... Now...it's better this way... Don't you think so?

Byah..

Study week..

Well..I'm in my study week now...1 week break before final exams, then it'll be my industrial training. My study week is a little longer though, since my first paper will be on the 30th April....and then 3rd,4th,5th and 6th May..gilaaaaaa!!! I've never had papers in consecutive days!!!! As much as I have a good feeling about this semester, again I don't think it'll be the one I'm going to score... Bila la aku mok masuk anugerah dekan owh... GPA 3 gik belom.... never mind...you can do it.. Be a man, do the right thing!!... Wish me all the best...BYah!!!!

Wrong move...very wrong move..

This article in Utusan will give a huge impact in this year's election... I think, most if not all the areas with chinese majority...will be won by opposition... you just can't say that government should stop giving to the chinese because they're voting the opposition. They're voting the opposition because they feel that they're not getting enough...and if you give them less...it will only get worse... and then the Indians will start to reject too...and the non-Malay bumi might follow the trend...

The best way to win them back is to give more than before.. if they want change, then change... if they want transformation, transform la.. remember, always keep you friends near, but also keep your foes at an armslength... Byah!!

Saja bah..

So as you guys know..the Sarawak's General Election is over..and BN still rule 2/3 of the state...but a huge casualty in terms of the Deputy Chief MInister..yup..The SUPP president lost in Piasau to DAP...

OK..I know you guys care less on the BN seats...so here are the non-BN winners:

Pelagus - BEBAS
Krian - Keadilan
Ba'kelalan - Keadilan (Baru Bian ya'll)
Batu Lintang - Keadilan
Piasau - DAP (sorry DCM)
Kota Sentosa - DAP (Sorry again Datuk Alfred Yap)
Padungan - DAP (I still feel sorry for Dominique Ng Kim Ho..lost seat, lost deposit)
Pujut - DAP
Pending - DAP
Batu Kawah - DAP (by now you can see that Kuching is not BN's supporters)
Meradong - DAP
Pelawan - DAP
Dudong - DAP
Kidurong - DAP
Bukit Assek - DAP
Repok - DAP

In conclusions, BN won the rural seat..but town and city areas have acknowledge that transformation is not enough, but change... That's all folks.. Byah!!

A picture = A thousand words..

This is golden (taken from http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1377733/Mario-Balotellis-wink-sparks-riot-Clashes-mar-Manchester-Citys-Wembley-triumph.html)

Hikers

Yesterday (Sunday), a few classmates of mine went to hike Mount Santubong. I was supposed to be with them but I had a few errands to attend to. But I can say I'm quite envious with them.

I want to hike Mount Santubong because I haven't done so. I ever cross the trekking route there but I never went to hike it. Hopefully I can join them the next time we have such plans. For now, just enjoy some of the pics they took.

The greens...the view from top...aiya.... let's go...
